Food 4 Thought Distribution 2025-2026

Please help us provide weekend food bags and snacks for students through our Food4Thought program.

We need assistance delivering our weekend food bags and snacks each week. If you've never distributed the bags and need training, please email Darcie at communicationsvp@hwpta.org to set up a time to show you the ropes or pair you with an experienced volunteer. Because of the sensitive nature of this program, we ask that all volunteers come without younger children.

Long Weekends/Holidays: For long weekends or holiday breaks, you may see multiple delivery days to accommodate multiple bags of food.

Also please note, you'll be asked to include your cell phone number when you sign up so that we can quickly get in touch if there are any last minute changes to the slot you've signed up for (weather issues, food delivery issues, etc.). If you have signed up and need to cancel your slot, PLEASE EMAIL or text Darcie (communicationsvp@hwpta.org or 703-615-1221) so that we can find another volunteer in time -- thanks!!
