Our final two Special Education Committee Meetings for the 2015-2016 school year will be the first Wednesday of the month for May and June ( May 4 & June 1) Meetings are held in the HWES Library from 7pm – 8pm and are open to all. Please join us! At our June meeting we will be discussing summer meeting dates and plans for the 2016-2017 school year!
At our May 4th Special Education & Special Needs Committee meeting, we discussed the PTA survey that will be sent to all HWES families during the first week of June. This survey will address general issues pertinent to the PTA such as membership and involvement. It will also include a couple of questions to help guide the new Special Education and Special Needs Committee. The survey will be made available electronically and in paper form.
We also determined that our June 1st meeting will focus on summer committee meeting dates and programs to be implemented in the 2016-2017 school year.
